Nominate a Leader for the MLK Legacy Award

The Alpha Upsilon Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., invites you to help us honor outstanding citizens or organizations who embody the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Do you know someone who demonstrates exceptional leadership and service, making a lasting impact on their community? This is your opportunity to celebrate them by nominating them for the MLK Legacy/Leadership Award.

Dr. King’s legacy is not only about his remarkable achievements but also about inspiring others to carry on his work. This award seeks to recognize individuals and organizations that mirror his dedication to service and justice, leaving behind a community empowered to thrive.

Award Categories Include:
- Athletics
- Business
- Community Service
- Education
- Governmental Service
- Humanity
- Religion

Criteria for Nomination:
- The nominee should reside or operate in the communities served by financially active members of Alpha Upsilon Lambda Chapter.
- Nominees must demonstrate exemplary community and professional service in alignment with Dr. King’s life, leadership, and legacy.
- Nominations should be supported by a detailed biographical sketch and at least two letters of support.

Nomination Process:
Nomination packages must be submitted by November 30, 2024. Packages should include a completed nomination form, biographical details of the nominee, and supporting letters.
